  • Teach Your Children The Value Of Renewable Energy

I have created a site about the environment, electricity and heating information. I also write about Political News, Management Consulting and Business Tips. This site applies to parents and children, I have added some fun activities for your children to learn about how to be conservative with energy and learning devices, diagrams and pictures about Renewable Energies. Our children's future's are at stake, so it's important that we instill the correct values in them while their young, so that it will become a "habit" for them when they are older.

Had our parents taken the time 30 years ago to help teach us the basic principles of caring for the environment, I believe our world would have been a better place than it is today. For so long scientists have warned the government about global warming, ozone damage and carbon dioxide emissions, yet they turned a blind eye, a deaf ear and went along as though it would never matter. Now our world leaders are scrambling, spending millions of dollars on research and telling us, invest in renewable energy!

It's great that "Green Chip Stocks," are the wave of the future. Not only are we helping the environment by investing in companies that are testing projects of renewable energy, but we will eventually find the right formula to make it work. This will help to produce employment (our #1 goal now), we will reduce the problems that our atmosphere is suffering from and our world will be much cleaner, peaceful and rested.

We should talk about these issues with our children. Make little crafts and projects about it. Your kids will thank you because you have taken the time to talk to them about something that is really important. They should be well educated where we haven't been. Most of us avoid "green issues", because deep down inside we feel a bit guilty about not being the reuse, reduce, recycle type of person. It takes "extra" time and patience to go through all the materials to learn what it's all about. Honestly its the most boring, dry stuff to read ( I know I've been researching it this past month- Yawn)

I have created a site, to introduce parents and children to renewable energies, short articles that you can read in about 2 minutes (the amount of time mom has before little hands are pulling on her for attention while at the computer.) You can watch fascinating videos on how the process works and your children might find it interesting because it gives them something "New" to talk about at school. This will bring awareness to your child about current events and it will help further their education and impress fellow students and teachers!

I will be adding fun activities and games for kids (and kids at heart) on this site: http://theideagirl.today.com

  • The Ideas of a Child

I've read many stories about inventors talking about their life history. One point stuck out in my mind, they had the idea as a child but were told to "forget that silly idea." How many times were you told as a child that you can't do this or that? People tend to limit children and they really shouldn't.

Children are more inclined to listen to messages from the Universe. They don't have muddled minds like us. We worry about things, our lifestyles dictate that we must plan each minute of the day doing something. Whereas children have time to think and contemplate the thoughts that cross their minds.

You need to encourage your child to write down their ideas in a journal. If it's something beyond your understanding then share it with someone who will understand what it means. It could be part of our future! If your child has a passion or desire to do something, then by all means, let them. They are born with these God given ideas and it's part of their life's plan to do them. Even when someone is discouraged not to do something, they in turn will do it no matter what.

With persistence, and guidance, little johnny or jenny can help make a difference in this world. If they feel the need to write to the President of the United States about a particular thing, then let them. Be their number one fan. That is just what they need.

I believe the reason some kids don't do very well in school, is because they have been shot down so many times that they just give up. Why try to make a difference when no one cares? You must ask yourself, how many times was I told to forget about it? How many dreams and visions did you write down in your diary/journal and forget about?

You could have the answer to the littlest thing, yet it could mean life or death to someone. It could mean a new invention that could lead to something greater. It's like were all given these little ideas and once you clump them all together they become a part of the BIG picture.

Imagine if the "little" electric engine had never been invented, where would you be now? Without the comforts of home or an automobile! Someone took that one idea, expanded it and created other ideas and they produced an automobile out of one simple plan.

Many of the inventors, scientists and space researchers, all had a dream or vision from a very early age. The ones that succeed are the ones that are watered when they had a seed of an idea and eventually the plant grew and blossomed into something wonderful and marvelous!

You can Twitter The Idea Girl if you have anything you'd like to suggest or share about parenthood.
